Your trips. Where you are going, where you travel from, dates, budget, what you like, food and dietary needs, where you stay, your plan, expenses and lists.

Who is coming. For each adult: a name (optional) and man or woman (optional). For each child: boy or girl and age. A child's name is optional and we never ask for dates of birth. You give us this as the parent or guardian.

Your account, if you make one. Your name, and the email address or phone number you sign in with (from Google, Apple, an email code or an SMS code), your home city and currency, and whether you want travel deals.

How the app is used. When a plan is built, a packing list is made, the camera is used or "What now?" is searched, we note it with a random number for your phone, so we can count visitors and see which destinations are popular. For people without an account this has no name, email or phone attached.

Tomo asks for your number only at moments where it helps you: to keep a trip on your number so it is safe on any phone, when you join a friend's trip, or when you start a price watch. You never have to give it. We use it for your trips and, only if you tick the box, the odd travel deal. We never sell it or share it with advertisers. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

To build your plans, packing lists and suggestions, to keep your trips safe on your account, to share a trip with the people you invite, and to improve Tomo. We may share totals with partners (for example, "how many families plan trips to Istanbul in December"), never anything that identifies you.

We never sell your personal details. We only email you deals if you ticked the box, and you can untick it in Settings.

Tomo runs on Fly.io servers in Frankfurt, Germany. To write plans and answers, the trip details (not your email or phone) are sent to Anthropic's Claude AI. Sign-in goes through Google, Apple, Resend (email codes) or Twilio (SMS codes), depending on how you sign in. Weather comes from Open-Meteo and maps from Google Maps and OpenStreetMap; these see only the place, not who you are.

Trips on your account stay until you delete them or your account. Trips you never saved to an account stay on your phone only. Usage notes are kept for up to two years.

In Settings you can download everything we keep about you, change your details, turn off deals, or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your account, your activity and the trips only you are in, straight away. Trips you share with a group stay for the others in that group.
